some people say History is one of most important school subjects other people think that, in today world, subject like science and technology are more important than History
Technology is the way to progress for the human race. It is often a debatable issue by a lot of individuals that students should be proficient in subjects such as science and technology, whereas others argue that history holds a crucial part in students' lives. In my opinion, I agree with the latter view, and in this essay, I will explore both statements and provide a proper conclusion.
To commence with, history plays a pivotal role in any human’s life, as it portrays the knowledge of past events and the origin of mankind. In other words, educating students on history will turn them into better decision-makers in their future, and exploring their ancestors' achievements, cultures, traditions and norms enhance both morals and ethical values. Moreover, it aids them to understand strategies that are used in this contemporary world. To illustrate, the textbooks in schools provide profound knowledge about the world wars in ancient period which enable the adolescent’s to be aware of the methods used to attain peace
On the other hand, despite the merits of studying history, science and technology fields should not be overlooked, as it revolutionized mankind to significant positions. Having said that, with technological advancements, humans are facilitated to introduce numerous innovative solutions to battle with hunger, disease, and poverty. Additionally, it makes our lives easier and healthier than earlier years. For instance, most of the developed nations are contributing funds in research and science fields expecting to create vaccines and antibiotics to eradicate deadly viruses, which ultimately escalate the life expectancy rate of the nation.
To recapitulate, when it comes to essential subjects, people always divide their opinions, some argue that young children should be taught regarding popular fields such as science and technology which aid to raise a human standard of living. In contrast, a few defend that history will be more useful as it teaches the concept of identity to the adolescent.
