Some people say that subject like arts, music, drama and creative writing are more beneficial to children and therefore they need more of these subjects to be included in the timetable.
Do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, schools tend to cut out a few art-oriented subjects including arts, music, drama, and creative writing. But there are still some individuals who believe that those subjects will benefit students in various ways, and to some extent, I am personally in agreement with this idea.
To begin with, art-oriented subjects enhance students’ ability to either present or persuade. Art is like a world that helps them discover and develop their latent talents, it also allows pupils to compare and learn about the different viewpoints about both the new and old topics as the interpretation of works of art depends on each enjoyer’s perspectives. Furthermore, if students can confess their opinions to their classmates about some art aspects, they will be able to cultivate eloquence, teamwork, imagination, and critical thinking. Those may enhance thinking ability, and they will be the main motivation to promote children’s studies.
Second, art can boost students’ confidence and communication skills. Through numerous kinds of performing art, students will learn various types of communication, learn to draw pictures, compose songs or poems, participate in plays, etc. to express their point of view. Arts allow students to share their voices through their performances. Moreover, it is exciting for the teachers to be able to see their students little by little develop and nurture their ability to communicate through different artistic mediums.
To sum up, it is advisory that schools should keep these art-oriented subjects with a view to bettering student’s behavioral skills in life.
