The table and bar chart compare the average journey times within a city centre before and after developing the transport system and the prices of using the distinct modes of transportation in a city centre.
According to the bar chart, average cost per kilometre of using taxi is far more than that of other means of transportation with rupees 1.80 which was almost double of car usage's cost.
Tram and bus are becoming cheaper mode of transport in terms of its usage with rupees 0.50 and 0.40 respectively.
As regards to average journey times after developing the transport network, people can save their time while using bus and tram which take less time from 28 minutes to 23 minutes and 22 minutes to 16 minutes accordingly. However, taxi and car show inclination in terms of its timing by 3 minutes and 5 minutes.
Overall, taxi is most expensive method of transportation whereas bus becomes economic mean of transportation.Meanwhile, public transportation consume less time in terms of commuting after improving transport network.
