The given table shows data about the amount of carbon dioxide produced in five countries between 2005 and 2006.
As is observed from the given data, the amount of carbon dioxide in China and India increased remarkably during the mention period while there were no significant changes in the figures for the remaining country. Overall, the highest amount of carbon dioxide per person was in United Stated and Indian people saw the less.
In 2005, over 5000 million tonnes of carbon dioxide were produced in China, and this figure rose to more than 5600 million in 2006, an increase of 11%. By contrast, although American people had the highest amount of carbon dioxide in both individual and total group, at about 19.8 tonnes and 5682 million tonnes respectively, the percentage decrease, at 2%, was the lowest record of the fifth countries shown in the table.
Indian people were the less in terms of average number of carbon dioxide per person, with only 1.2 tonnes in 2005, but India showed the second biggest increase (8%) in the amount of total production. Figures for Russia and Japan were below 1700 million tonnes mark in both years and remained at roughly the same number in 2006.
