The table below gives information on consumer spending on different items in five different countries in 2002.
The percentage of expenditure on Food/Drink/Tobacco, Clothing/Footwear and leisure/Education among five different countries Ireland, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey was investigated in 2002.
The maximum percentage of spending for every country belonged to food/drinks/tobacco and turkey was located at the top list due to this expenditure by 32.14%. On the other hand leisure/education had the minimum expenditure which Spain by 1.98% was at the bottom. In addition Italy and Sweden were the first and latest countries according to percentage of spending on footwear/clothing by 9.00% and 5.4% respectively. As shown in table distribution of expenditure percentage among all countries was similar, furthermore amount of spending on each component was close to each other.
