The given table illustrates each band and overall band score of pupils from four different language groups which are German, French, Indonesian and Malay taking the IELTS General Test in 2010.
Firstly,German students scored the highest 6.9 in speaking than in other criteria as well as than students speaking other languages. Also, in writing, in comparison to other pupils German got more points which is 6.6 whereas Malay scored less that is 6.0. But each band of reading was 6.4 of Malay speaking children which was maximum score of reading and the minimal score was 6.1 of both French and Indonesian students. Further, top band score of listening was 6.8 scored by German and the least was 6.2 by Malay students. Points of reading and writing was 6.1 of Indonesian. In contrast to, overall band score of all students, the highest was 6.7 of Germans and the lowest was 6.3 of Indonesian.
Overall, Germans had scored more than other students in listening, writing and speaking however Malays scored the highest in reading but Indonesian and French students were average than all of them.
