The table below shows the average band scores for students from different language groups taking the IELTS General Test in 2010

Overall, German had highest band scores, whereas Indonesian achieves lowest band scores. However, Indonesian showed strongest aspects in speaking while German showed lowest scores in reading.
To start with, German had the highest in listening, writing and speaking to contrast with three nationalists which was 6.8,6.6.6.9 respectively. But in reading, the nation rewarded by lowest band scores of 6.3.In terms of French, the country had 6.5,6.6 scores in writing and speaking, whereas in listening and reading had similar band scores.
In the case of Indonesian, students had highest band scores in speaking was 6.7, however in reading and writing, nation recorded same score in both aspects which was roughly 6.1, but they got 6.3 in listening. The Malaysian students had lowest scores in writing (6.0), while they scored 6.2,6.4,6.6 in the rest of modules.
