Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given chart illustrates the amount of oil produced per day in four countries between 2000 and 2004 in litres.
Overall, what stands out from the diagram is that while the production of oil in Chad witnessed a significant escalation during the provided period, the same thing could not be said in Congo as it experienced a steady decline.
With regards to the first two years, either Congo and Nigeria underwent continual deterioration, while the popularity of this business increased gradually in Somalia as its manufacture went up by 12,000 litres in two years. Notwithstanding moderate changes in other countries, Chad remained as the only one without any considerable amount of oil created.
However, in the last two years, though the growth of this industry in Chad was nowhere near as Nigeria, which peaked at 213,000 in 2004, it surged sharply 42,000 litres in the last year. Both Somalia and Chad reached 50,000 litres during 2004, meanwhile the oil production in Congo consistently fell to 203,000 litres, losing its first place to Nigeria in the table despite a remarkable starting point of 275,000 litres in 2000.
