It can be clearly seen that In year 1930, prisoners were around 30 thousand in Britain , but after 50 years number increased to 80 thousand in 1980. Whereas, in Australia imprisonment rate dropped in given time period which was 70 thousand in year 1930 to came just under 50 thousand in year 1980. Detainees in America and New Zealand were 100 thousand in 1930. However, in 50 years prisoners in New Zealand dropped to 80 thousand. Whereas America showed increase in the number of prisoners with 130 thousand in 1980.
Moving further, Canada was on the top list of all nations in imprisonment in 1930 with 120 thousand prisoners which fell down to just under 100 thousand in year 1980.
