The table below shows the numbers of visitors to Ashdown Museum during the year before and the year after it was refurbished. The charts show the result of surveys asking visitors who satisfied they were with their visit, during the same two periods.
The table illustrates the difference in the amount of visitors before and after during the year of refurbishment of Ashdown Museum. While the pie charts compare the percentages of how satisfied people feel about the museum in two period.
In general, it is clear that a huge increase in the number of people visiting the museum was witnessed after refurbishment. Besides, more visitors were likely to appreciate the changes when the museum was repaired.
Looking at the table, the number of visitor in the year before refurbishment stood at 74000, this figure increase considerably to 92000 during the year after. Before the reconstruction, the dissatisfaction took up the largest part at 40%, followed by 30% and 15% of the people who were satisfied and very satisfied, respectively. Only one in ten number of people who were very dissatisfied and the last 5% of people who did not give response to the survey.
Regarding to the year after refurbishment, the percentage of dissatisfied visitors decreased significantly, accounting for only 15%. The number of people who were satisfied led the board at 30%, followed by that of people very satisfied at 30%. Finally, the percentages of visitors who were very dissatisfied or even did not respond shared the same rate of 5% each.
