Two surveys were conducted to determine the impact of refurbishment on visitors at the Ashdown museum. Given are figures regarding the annual numbers of visitors and the level of their satisfaction during a tour to the museum before and after renovation.
It is clear that not only did it increase the number of visitors but also there was a remarkable rise in overall satisfaction. While only 15% and 30% of 74000 people announced that their visit was very satisfied or satisfying respectively, after redecoration the rates rose significantly and reach 35% and 40% of 94000 visitors.
Half of the individuals did not convince by visiting the museum, thanks to refurbishment the rate decreased to a fifth. A mere 5% did not participate in surveys both years.
