The table demonstrates the significant changes in market share of different types of transportation which used by people in 3 cities in Australia between 2000 and 2010. Overall, from 3 different cities, Perth experienced the dramatic changes among the rest.
Throughout the years, personal vehicles faced a downfall of shares in all cities, with -2.9, -2.9, and -3.3 respectively. Besides personal vehicles, walk and work at home also experienced fluctuated market shares. For walk, the only city with increased shares was Perth, added 4 shares after 10 years. Meanwhile, Sydney was the only city, which gained exactly 0.6 shares since 10 years ago.
The rest of transportation types encountered with number of shares that rose extremely. Perth, again had been selected as the city with highest market shares in mass transit and other, 21 and 30.2 respectively, as Melbourne and Sydney was competing to avoid having the lowest shares in both transportation types. Lastly, Sydney unexpectedly had 31 of shares in bicycle, make it the highest shares in this sort of transportation.
