The table illustrates the land covered by the forest in the 6 different continents in the year 1990, 2000, and 2005 whereas areas are represented in a hector.
Overall, An European countries has largest land cover with forest throughout the period even expanding its size but the oceanic areas has least forest area and constant during the interval.
In the year 1990, An Europe is the top location for the forest size with 989 hector of the land, South America resembles as second with just hector less than it. Where Africa and North America have a nearly same land ratio of above 700 hector. Asia has 576 hector of land with trees and Oceania is the area with the minimum forest cover.
After 10 year, Only an Europe is expanding its area by 9 hector but rest other part of the globe is reducing its land with the forest. For next 5 year, their is dramatic reduction in the jungles size in all of the continent except an Europe and North America. Europe has 1001 hector of jungle of total land cover, whereas North America remains idle in 2005.
