The table illustrates data about how many people visiting Ashdown Museum at two different times, before and after its refurbishment. Meanwhile, the pie charts highlight information about the percentage of visitors who had different levels of satisfaction in the same years.
Overall, it can be seen that after the museum underwent some changes, the number of visitors saw quite a considerable increase. Another notable point was an improvement in visitor satisfaction, as positive feedback was on the rise.
Particularly, the number of visitors setting foot in the museum went up by 18,000, from 74,000 during the year before it was refurbished to 92,000. The changes applied also led to better satisfaction among the visitors, as the percentage of people who were very satisfied increased by 20 percent, accounting for over one-third of the survey participants. There was also an upward trend in the figure of satisfied visitors, it went from 30 to 40 percent after the renovation.
The opposite was true for people who are not pleased with their trip. As regards dissatisfied visitors, the figure declined significantly by 25 percent, while the proportion of very dissatisfied ones also fell from 10 to 5 percent after the refurbishment. Visitors who gave no response took up 5 percent of the survey in both years.
