The following tables illustrate the total revenue gained from Fairtrade's coffee and bananas at the year of 1999 and 2004, divided by six countries.
Overall, the sale of coffee and bananas at the UK in both 1999 and 2004 captured the highest margin, while Sweden had the lowest sales of coffee at 1999 and bananas at 2004.
The UK had the sale rate of coffee at 1999 was 1.5 million euros. Compared to other countries, it was ranked at the middle. At 2004, however, this number got skyrocketed, nearly 20 times bigger. To the country of Switzerland, it only had the profit of 6 million euros. With Denmark, Belgium and Sweden though, they all shared the same trend of slow increase in terms of revenue. The speed of rise at these countries only oscillated around 0.2 to 0.7 million euros in a period of 5 years.
At banana, Uk still dominated the chart with two-digit numbers, with 15 and 47 million of euros at 1999 and 2004, respectively. Even though, Switzerland was the country that got the highest velocity of growth, nearly 6 times higher from 1999 to 2004. On the other hand, Belgium and Sweden experienced some heavy fluctuations, with Belgium went down from 1.8 to 1 millions, and Sweden fell from 2 to 0.9 millions too.
