Regarding the second table, over a third of smokers said, they were planning to give up within the next 6 months. Conversely, just over one in ten smokers plan to stop smoking within the next month. This is in comparison to the majority of smokers that intend ted to give up at 71% wanting to stop smoking due to health-related concerns and are ready to stop within the next 6 months.
