From basic observation, the proportion of women who usually ride bicycles is always greater than that of men in different age groups. The percentage of the population who ride a bike decline gradually over age groups from birth to age 59. However, from 60 years old and above, the number of bicyclists has risen significantly.
Looking at the table, the group of 0-9 years old is the most proportion of citizens cycling compared to older ages, in which males rode a bike up to 51.2 but still fewer than females 1.3. Cyclists who were women aged 10-19 dropped moderately to 43.6, while the number of men rode bicycles plummeted to 25.1. In addition, the group at 20-39, the rate of women and men continued to plunged considerably to 18.2 and 10.8 respectively.
Besides, the number of cyclists slumped markedly to a minority they reached the age from 40 to 59 years old. However, starting from the age of 60 and above, the percentages of the population cycling surged remarkably, in which males rode a bike up to 14.6 but this figures still fewer than females 5.2.
