Task 1 University subjects chosen 2005

The bar chart gives information on the figures for students in thousand who had a choice subjects of university in 2005. The chart groups the students according to subjects and divides these subject groups into Males and females. There was a huge difference in choices between Males and Females.
The number of boys’ choices ranged from the highest the number of just over 20 thousand to the lowest just approximately 2 thousand. More boys had a choice in Science than Females and the former was over 20 thousand which was twofold than the latter. Mathematics, literature, and law were more attractive to boys than girls. By contrast, language and the arts were chosen by only around 2,5 thousand.
It was so impressive that the number of females who chose social science was nearly 25 thousand and higher than the highest number of males who chose science. There was a big difference between Males and Females in language choice. The female’s choice was ninth as more as the male choice. Humanities were chosen by the same figure for boys and girls.
