Given pie charts describe the annual school expenses by different elements in UK, in 1981, 1991 and 2001.
It is clear that, the main school spending belong to teachers’ salaries in diverse so-called years.
In 1981 and 1991, insurance had 2 and 3% of total school spending respectively, while in 2001 this variable increased dramatically to 8%. Nevertheless insurance had the minimum share of total school spending for three years. On the other hand, teacher salaries was identified as the dominant variable in total annual spending for all three years which, 40% in 1981, 50% in 1991 and 45% in 2001.
Other worker salaries, resources (e.g. books) and furniture and equipment was the other important parameters which had more the 40% share of total school spending. With passing the time the percentage of other worker salaries decreased in 1991 and 2001 with regard to 1981. Resources percentage grow up firstly from 1981 to 1991 and then diminished in 2001. The maximum and minimum percentage of total annual school spending related to furniture and equipment was in 2001 and 1991 respectively.
