The pie chart illustrates that energy is produced by five different categories in two different period of 1980 and 1990 in USA.

Overall, Oil supplied the largest energy between 1980 and 1990 .While Nearly same amount of energy was produced by using nature gas. In USA for both time period, hydroelectric power was least choice for generating electric.

Firstly, major source of energy produced with oil at 42% in 1980 but it decreased to 35% in next 10 years of period. In terms of coal, the figure for that stood at 22% while it declined by 5% in 1990. Regarding of nuclear power was second lowest preferrable way to produce energy, accounting for 6%, before witnessing an increased to 10% in 1990.

By contrast, the percentage of hydroelectric power for producing energy stood at 5% in 1980 since, it remained similar in 1980. Afterward, the percentage of source of energy was around at 26% 1980, then it accounted for 25% in 1990 with nearly same as it was noted in 1980. Finally the difference of that percentage was 1% throughout the period.
