The two maps below show an island, before and after the construction of some tourists facilities. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisions where relevant.
The maps project the establishment of some tourist facilities on an island. Overall, the facilities were null before while there are transportation and accommodation services included now.
On a closer observation, a pier has been placed on the southern part of the island where the ships can be loaded and unloaded. Moreover, a vehicle track, starting from pier, passes through the reception lying in the central part of island and connects the restaurant finally. In addition, a foot trail links the houses which are on both sides of reception to the vehicle track.
Moving into the details, reception which is located in the northern part of island is also just opposite of the pier. As can be observed, a swimming area has been considered near beach in the western part of the island which has been linked by a footpath passing through the accommodation area. Nevertheless, the trees remains unharmed.
In conclusion, the island has been developed for tourism purpose to meet the needs of the tourists.
