The given maps give information about an island before and after the construction of serval facilities for tourist purposes.
Overall, a comparison of the two maps reveals a complete transformation from a primitive island to a tourist attraction.
Before being developed, the island had nothing but only coconut trees on the west and east sides of the land. There was a beach on the west-most part of this island. However, no man-made construction is built on it.
After the construction of tourist facilities, this island saw a number of significant changes. The most noticeable is that a pier was built on the south shore, with a couple of sailboats around it. To the north of the pier, a reception was constructed as well as a circular road around it. In addition, a new restaurant was located to the north of the reception, and many primitive-style houses were built on both sides of the reception, serving as accommodation of the visitors. Further development was the opening of a swimming area on the beach, on the west side of this island. Most surprisingly, not a single coconut tree was cut down in the construction of tourist facilities.
