The pie charts given below illustrate some employment patterns in Great Britain in 1992. The data are measured in percentage. Overall, it can be seen that the biggest percentage in male is Managerial and Professional, while the smallest is general labourers. The biggest percentage in female is clerical or related, and the smallest category is general labourers.
Looking at the first pie charts was female, the largest percentage was clerical or related which had 31%. Different from Managerial and Professional as the second biggest percentage was 29%. Followed by other manual, it got 27%. While other non-manual, craft or similar, and general labourers had the total 13%, which were the smallest percentages of all employment patterns.
However, male showed some patterns which was dominated by Managerial and Professional, it got 36%. The second biggest percentage was 26% from Other Manual. Followed by Craft or Similar, it got 24%. The smallest percentages of all employment patterns were Clerical or Related, Other Non-manual and General Labourers which had total almost less than a fifth.
