After 12 years, in 2012, there was a steady growth in the number of female members of national assembly in Germany, Belgium, Italia. The figure in Germany rose to approximately 37% while these rates in Belgium and Italia were lower, at 32%, 25% respectively.
On the other hand, the percentage of women attenders in parliament in UK was about 27%,about 22% higher than France's rate in 2000. In 2012, the figure in France rose to about 20,5%, four times higher than the rate in 2000. The figure in UK went up to about 39%, the highest proportion among 5 European countries.
