Writing Task1 Cambridge10 Test1 (Pie chart)

Two pie charts below give information about average energy consumption by Australian household and greenhouse emissions released in consequence of this energy utilization.

All in all, while majority of energy consumption belongs to the field of heating, its greenhouse gas emissions are not too high. in addition, other appliances energy consumption is too small. In contrast this sector greenhouse gas emissions are surprisingly noticeable.

In terms of energy use by Australian household, vast amount of the energy consumption is in field of heating and water heating, at 42% and 30% respectively. While cooling and lighting energy utilization is not considerable, at 2% and 4% respectively. Other appliances consumes 15% of energy of the whole, which is double that of refrigeration.

Considering greenhouse gas emissions chart, water heating and other appliances emit more than half of the whole greenhouse emission, at 32% and 28% respectively. Heating and refrigeration release the same amount of greenhouse gas emission, about three in twenty. Cooling greenhouse effect compromises 3%, which is relatively half of lighting.
