The chart shows the unemployment situation in Australia in the year 2012.

The line graph illustrate the rate of unemployment in Australia in 2012. The X-axis represents the unemployment level in percentage value from 0 to 7 where the Y-axis represents the time of the year in quarters. Moreover, the blue line depicts the unemployment rate in rural communities and the red line indicates the same for cities.
From the begining of 2012, the situation of unemployment in village areashad decreased from a 6.5% to a 4.5 % at the end of second quarter of the year. Although the rate went up and down throughout the rest of the year, it settled at 5% the end of the year.
On the other hand, in the urban parts of the country, the rate of joblessness steadily doubled from the begining of 2012 to the half of the year from 2% to 4% but it dropped again to 2% in the end of the third quarter of the year. Unfortunately, from then it kept on increasing and finally reached near 5% at the end of 2012.
