Damage to the environment is an inevitable consequence of worldwide improvements in the standard of living. Discuss.

Mother nature have blessed us with abundant natural resources. Although we are grateful, we are not aware of the importance of protecting the nature for our future generations. However the changes are inevitable, we have to work together to balance the ecology of our world. Is the technology responsible for all the damages caused? This essay agrees the fact that the humans in their hurry to achieve and satisfy their insatiable thirst is causing deleterious damage to the planet.

The first aspect to point out in this context is the Industrialization and Globalization. The tremendous achievements in the field of Science and Technology gave the opportunity to develop different types of chemicals which depletes soil and causes water pollution, noise pollution and air pollution. The hazardous gas emission from industries causes depletion of Ozone layer which is our planet's protective layer. The proper reuse and disposal of waste from these industries can reduce the pollution to a greater extent.

Moreover, humans are invading the lands of farming and changing them to residential areas. Deforestation is an another issue which results in climatic changes and global warming. Even though we have enough rivers, they are in a stage of death. Around 14 percentage of our land are rainforests, but they are becoming less in number. Most of our wild species are in a stage of extinct. In one way or the other humans are responsible for all these damages to the Earth. Proper law making and proper awareness programs needed to alarm the humans about the current situation

After analyzing the above matter, it can be concluded that humans who are solely dependent on Earth have to recognize the current scenario and take effective measures to stop the exploitation. To ensure a better life for our successors, we have to use the non renewable and renewable resources very carefully. Morever, it is sensible enough to understand that the Earth is not humancentric and one day the natural powers will come down on us with a heavy hand and we will be their helpless victims.
