Each year, your company gives an Employee of the Year award to a worker who has performed exceptionally well. You believe that someone with whom you work should receive the award this year.

Dear Mrs Annie,

I am Chen from the Reinsurance Department. I am writing this letter to nominate for the Employee of the Year Award.

This year, I think that the best candidate for the award should give to Mr John Chen, who works in the Underwriting Department. I had a chance to work with him in the FIRST project, which gain an outstanding success in terms of profit as well as brand identity. As you know, this project has been planned for a long time, however, it just has been implemented recently and achieved great attainments in a short time. This would not have been done without the considerable efforts of Mr John and his team. From a teamwork perspective, he is an inspiring leader who always guides his team members to the right path of the topics whenever they seem to get lost. Moreover, he has a strong commitment to his duty so he never misses his deadlines, as well as the ability to delegate specific task to a right person so the project is sure to process smoothly. His colleagues and customers may never feel stressful working with him due to his sense of humor, positive attitude and the ability to inspire and encourage people around him.

Above all, what makes him stand out and worthy among those nominated for the award this year is the achievement he got in FIRST project. According to the mid-year report, as of 31th May 2019, the revenue from this project has reached one billion VND, accounting for 70% of the total revenue in property insurance sector, bringing more than 2 new million users. This is a record of achievement in the pass three years and he deserves a reward for all his efforts.

This is my personal thought and I would be thankful if you take time to consider my suggestion.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Lyn Tran
