Dear John,
I am writing to inform you that I have recently moved to Los Angeles.
As you know, I have always wanted to move from my home town to a megalopolis and now my dream finally came true. The thing is that I was transferred to a new office that has been recently opened in LA.
In the city I managed to find a decent flat near my workplace. Can you imagine? It is so close that I don’t need a car! The neighborhood is ok, although I would prefer to live closer to the shore but it is too expensive for me now.
Finally, if I remember correctly, and I do, you are going to travel to the USA this autumn. So, I hope that you will include LA in your plans. Remember you can stay in my place as long as you wish and by the time you arrive, I will have known the city pretty well and we will be having awesome time.
