Dear Amy,
Hope you are doing great. Thank you very much for agreeing to look after my house and my dog, Tommy for a few days. Thanks to your help, me and Papia would be able to enjoy a much-needed vacation. Before I leave, I wanted to walk you through some important details. Should you need any information, you can buzz me anytime at my cell number at 123433721. If I am not available, please leave a voicemail and I will call you back.
To begin with, please feed Tommy thrice a day. I have kept his food on the top shelf right above the kitchen sink. Also, he needs to be taken out for a walk and bio break in the morning and evening time. Tommy is a friendly dog and he is quite fond of you. So I think you both will gel well.
Additionally, it would be great if you could water the plants every other day, if not done they will die out of the harsh sun rays. I don't want to lose them as they are very precious to me. Also, the garbage truck arrives every Thursday morning and please do not mix up recyclable wastes with other wastes.
I have packed the refrigerator with food for you. The house is all there for you to enjoy.
