Dear John,
I am glad to hear from you after a long time, I hope everything is fine. I would like to apologise for not attending your house-warming party which was happened last week.
As you know that I said that I will definitely attend the party, but at last-minute I got some important work to be completed in office and I can’t get away from it since we had a important delivery to customer last week.
You probably don’t know that we are working on a very innovative product which was none of a kind in present market, I am not supposed to discuss about the product due to some security reasons, you will come to when it is released in the market. We were supposed to release the product 2 weeks before but at the last minute we found a bug that needs to fix as soon as possible.
I will be free from next week as the product launch will happen this week and we are all set to go, I am very much excited for this launch. As I missed the house warming party last week, I would like to visit your house next weekend to compensate for the party.
I am looking forward to seeing you next week.
