Culture and tradition helps a community to keep their values alive but a gradual loss to these valuables cannot be ignored too. Some people believe that exposing a culture and its traditions are part of promotion while other thinks that, it is just a way to make money. Personally, I believe that maintaining these customs and historical conventions are equally important to keep our presence identical among diverse societies.
The ancient civilization has left us with rich historical landmarks, proud people and the desire to explore and experience their past, understand their present and visualize their future. Every community has an identification due to the culture they own and the tradition they follow. Moreover, it is essential for a society to maintain their heritage, customs, rituals and the history to retain their existence which they inherited from their ancestors.
In the modern age, while everyone is in the race to earn more and more money so the way to represent their culture and traditions has become commercialized therefore it is being exposed by promoting it. Such initiative attracts tourist from other civilization who plays an integral role in monetary benefit for an economy or an individual too. Nevertheless, people from different social behavior try to influence this tradition by comparing it with others. Similarly, people have forgotten values of their customs and rituals, however, they have become ignorant and greedy to earn more therefore not paying attention to maintain these. Moreover, extended families are becoming nuclear families which is another reason of loss to our culture just because of financial needs.
All said and done, money is essential, but the traditions and cultural values play a significant role to gain it therefore they should not be ignored rather need to be maintained regularly to keep them alive for a glorious future.
