Last month you had an overseas holidays with some friends where you stayed at their house. They have just sent you some holidays photos.
Write a letter to your friends. In your letter:
1-Thank them for the holidays and the photos
2-explain why you didn't write earlier
3-Invite them to come and stay with you
Hello Jhon and Maria
First of all, I want to thank you for the fantastic holidays we spent together in your hometown last month. Northern Australia is more beautiful than I expected, the landscapes are overwhelming, and the people are very kind. I couldn't wait to go back there again as soon as I could. Once again, thank you for sharing the photos you took. They are so colorful and vivid. Would you mind remembering Johanna to send the pictures she took at their place? We had a great time there with her.
Sorry that I haven't written before. These last couple of weeks have been stressful at work. I had an important presentation with a client, and I was working 24/7 on that project. Luckily, that went well; therefore, I will be in charge of a big account for two years.
Due to my new client, I will have to work even harder, despite that, you should come and visit me. Christmas is getting closer; you know how much I love Christmas. I think you should stay with me. I have plenty of room in the apartment, and we will go sightseeing around the city.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Carlos
