I am writing to inform you that I lost my baggage while I was on holiday in Maldives in last week, and request you to please provide me compensation for my loss as I had bought travel insurance from your firm for my travel.

The baggage that I lost was an Aristocrat dark blue 15 kg bag (dimensions – 78*28*35 cm) that I carried. It had a red satin ribbon tied around both handles so that it could be easily identified among all the bags moving on the track.
Let me explain you how actually I lost my luggage. While returning from Maldives, I had checked in my baggage at the counter, but due to carelessness of airlines my baggage was never picked up by airlines from Maldives international airport and now they do not have any records of it.

As mentioned earlier, I had been very precautious and bought a travel insurance while booking my tickets to Maldives. As per the insurance policy, request you to please provide a compensation for my lost items.
