Dear R,
I read through the letter from you, our working career will have plenty of challenges. As a friend, I am always here to help you and guide through the difficulties that you face in your career. Unfortunately, hard work and discipline do not always help to get a promotion. Instead, one should be really smart in building and expanding internal and external networks. It would be easy if you try to consider these problems as challenges which make the life more interesting.
A couple of years back, I was having a problem with my manager which goes into the extreme level during the appraisal meeting. As I was not given with proper hike and compensation though I was the only person having enough performance for achieving a good percentage of a hike. This pulls me to take some tuff decision to move on my career to the next level since the conversation between us was not to be good. So I decided to move out of the company, then moved into abroad for further improvement in my career.
At first, I would suggest you have a conversation with your manager discuss it and try to make him understand you are the best person. Provided this would bring down the gap between you and your manager if this gets into positive continue to stay there else I will make some arrangments in my company to pull you inside here.
It's been so long since we last ever meet each other during our college days but I will never forget those funny moments during our last days in university education. Let us have a plan for this vacation to meet up with each other to have some wonderful time.
Get back to me as soon as possible.
Best Wishes,
Kokulakrishnan.
