The maps below show changes in the Spanish city of Castellon in recent times. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparations where relevant
The maps illustrate how Castellon's Spanish city has changed over the last 21 years
Overall, the city witnessed radical changes with the most changes noticeable being the developments of public services and the construction of more environmentally transportation.
In 2000, the road which next to the city centre severed car and other vehicles, but now it only allows bike with a bike rental scheme and just for pedestrians only. Furthermore, there are a cinema, bars and clubs on the right-hand side of the road, where it used to be an empty lot. There was a university located in the north with some trees next to it, but recently, the trees were cleared to make way for a new shopping centre and the university is currently connected with the city centre by a tramline. A train station and an old market were destroyed and replaced by a police station and a new shop, respectively.
From the northwest to the east of the city, there was an appearance of some noticeable addition, for example, a new hall of residence, a new covered market and the airport which is still under construction. Then, the train station of 2000 has now been moved to the east of the old ones where is halfway between the university and the city centre.
