Most employers do job interviews before offering a position to a person. Do you think this is the best way to do it, or are there better alternatives? what is the best method of choosing employees in your opinion?
It is common in every organisation to conduct an interview in order to select a better candidate for their company. From over many decades this approach is the best way to appoint an employee, however, providing internships could also be the better option. In my opinion, employee should be selected after completing two tasks, first conducting an interview at very basic level and second to provide live training and test at the end of the training.
With the unprecedented development in field of science and technology, employment opportunities has increased. The basic procedure to appoint a candidate for the company is to conduct an interview and decide the best fit for their company. However, I believe, one hour of interview cannot decide all the skills and talents candidate have. Although cracking interview to entered the organisation is compulsory, employers should provide a basic training to the candidates about their work.
Internship could be the best solution in order to select best employee. Since employee will get on-the-job training they can be easily assessed by the employer by observing their quality of work, management skills, communication skills and team work. At last, an examination of all the candidates should be conduct who are selected for the job so that decision could become more easier and practical. Moreover, employees will gain experience of work field and understanding of organisation environment.
In conclusion, interview is the best method to assessed the participants for the role, however, providing proper practical training in the respective work field and than assessing the participants will give the best employee for their organisation.
