Dear Sir
I am writing this letter with regards to the environmental pollution on my street. Ututu is the largest street in the city of Umuahia. It consists of 100 buildings but we have very few dumpsters to accommodate the daily wastes from the residents.
Due to very few dumpsters available, wastes are littered all over the place. We also have different spots where piles of refuse can be seen and this is the cause of the major traffic we experience every day. The environment has become very unhealthy for residents because of the bad odour that comes from the piled trash. Since the refuse company would not clear the dumpster daily, the pile up of daily wastes from people breeds mosquitoes and this infects the residents.
My suggestion is that more dumpsters should be made available to accommodate the daily wastes. Nancy suggests that the refuse disposal company should employ more staff so they can be able to take away wastes from the area daily.
I hope you act on this as soon as possible.
Yours Faithfully,
Adam Grant
