Write a letter to colleague who gave you a book that helped you for a presentation at work. You should:
– Describe the presentation
– Why was it important
– How did it help you.
Dear Mr. James,
I am writing to express my gratitude for giving me a book, which proved to be incredibly useful for preparing my presentation.
With regard to the presentation, I had to deliver a session on safety at the workplace and the possible measures an individual could take in order to ensure his own safety. This was an hour session and I am glad to inform you that it went well. All the ideas were comprehensive and covered all aspects of the topic. In fact, I was highly appreciated for my work by the whole team.
As far as the importance of the presentation is concerned, it was my first demonstration in front of the team including leaders and senior managers. My primary goal was to leave a positive impression on the audience and I was able to do so with your timely assistance. Once again, thank you.
As for the book, it is very informative and relevant to the topic. In fact, all the chapters are well-structured and easy to follow. It helped me in organizing my ideas and collect content for my slides. Most importantly, the language of the book is simple and easy to understand. I was also able to learn the topic-specific vocabulary from this book.
I am thankful to you for this act of kindness.
Yours sincerely,
Ell Green
