Write a letter to the manager of a company which is based in a foreign country to recommend your family member for a suitable job.
In your letter,
• Introduce yourself and say what you are doing
• Describe the role your family member is interested in
• Explain why he or she is suitable for the job
Dear Sir,
I recently came across an advertisement posted in the Montreal magazine by your esteemed organization for a vacancy of a software developer and I am writing to recommend my sibling for the role.
As a software developer myself, I am currently employed at Amazon in the UK for the past two years. I have worked on numerous projects and developed several user-based applications one of which is scheduled to release this month-end. During my projects, my brother Mr. Allwin Dsouza has shown great interest and has pitched multiple interesting ideas.
His commendable creativity can be channelized in developing state-of-the-art software products as he too is a Computer Science Engineer. As a keen candidate, he has engaged himself in three projects as a freelancer and is exercising his knowledge. Recently graduating with his bachelor’s degree, Allwin has been applying for jobs specifically in the province of Montreal.
During his final year of Engineering, he was entitled to the best application developer for the recommendation system for commuting within the region of Britain. Along with technical skills, he possesses various soft skills like reporting, documenting, and even presenting skills. Personally, I would recommend him for a junior software developer as he may pose as an asset to your organization.
I have attached his resume to this letter and I would be grateful if you consider this letter of recommendation. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.
Faithfully yours,
Adlen DSouza
