Write a letter to your manager about a computer system problem that you have encountered and say Describe the problem How it is affecting your work What needs to be done about it

Dear Manager,

I am writing you to let you know about the issues that I currently face using the computer allotted to me. Firstly, the machine heats up spontaneously as it is turned on. It is laggy, and the fans inside the CPU create a tremendous amount of noise when I use the system for a prolonged period of time.

The issue started after the IT department updated the operating system on my computer. As you know working with a machine with thermal problems may lead to fire hazards such as the explosion of the batteries inside it. Also, my job responsibilities include entering the client information into the database of the organisation which is seriously affected when working with a laggy machine as it affects my productivity. Finally, the noise produced by the computer affects not only my concentration but also that of my colleagues as well.

Therefore, I kindly request you to forward the issues I encounter with my workstation to the IT department and ask them to replace my computer or at least repair and service it as soon as possible.

Thank you for your consideration.

Regards,
Ayyappan
