Hello Matt,
I am writing this letter to request a new computer system. Since monday, the computer has started with a new problem for getting stuck in the login loop. I made sure this is not me typing the wrong password, because in that case, it just prompts "Incorrect login credentials". Once I attempt to login, the usual grey screen appears, and then for a very brief moment, an empty black screen appears and then takes me back to login screen asking for my username and password again. Moreover, there's no consistency on after how many login attempts it would let me in. First time, it worked after 5 login attempts, second time, didn't work after 8 attempts, then I restarted the system and worked the first time.
As you're aware, my computer already had problems like occasionally running out of memory (even with just 5-6 chrome tabs open) and taking forever to boot. Now I am afraid to even reboot or shutdown the system. This is a new addition to the already existing problems and it is seriously affecting my productivity, not to mention it is also frustrating. Please advice if I should request the IT department for a replacement system or should we order a new one from the vendor
