Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you in relation to the advertisement that was circulated in the daily newspaper for seeking volunteers for the sports events happening in the city later next month. Allow me to elaborate on the details.
I was told by a friend of mine about the sports events happening and I have been incessantly talking about it. I was told by a sponsor that the event will be related to football of which I am a huge fan and I happen to have volunteered in many sports events across different cities around the world. I was a volunteer in the CWG Games 2010 and CWG Games 2014. I have always been amused by volunteering for sports events which I am interested in.
In the past events, I have been managing the crowd control committee and have a certificate of appreciation from the coordinating committee of both the events. I feel that the said experience from my past can cater to the needs of your event. As there is not much time left to train someone in the area of crowd management. Thus, I will be happy to work in the crowd control department for the event and I can assure you I will not let you down.
Further, I feel that the demand of ticket checkers in the events should be double than what has been advertised as it can be a daunting task to get everyone seated at the right time with fewer personals. I am not trying to domineer you in any manner. It is just a humble submission from my end as the situation can be appalling at the event if the personals are not increased. I hope that you will give me a chance and consider my humble submission made before you.
I am hoping for a favourable outcome of my application.
Yours sincerely,
Brad Jason
