I am a health service volunteer at our East Anglia local community. I have been volunteering at our community for 10 years now, helping with the health challenges faced by the people of the community. I started as a young girl fresh out of high school, but I enjoyed the work so much, and still continued after my college degree and even when I started my present job, I was still helping out part time.
However, due to the present role I got at my job, I will have to relocated to North Cumbria which is very far from our community, and it breaks my heart to have to quit my volunteer job with the community where I have grown to love everyone.
Notwithstanding, in my course of working with the community, there’s a young girl I noticed, and would love to recommend to take my place. Her name is Sue Jones, she lives just down the road from the community center, and she is fresh out of high school. She graduated with honors, and got the award for the most outstanding student in her school. She is a very hardworking young lady, and her enthusiasm is top notch. I believe she would be a great fit for the role and will also help move the community forward with fresh ideas.
I am willing to give you more of her contact details if you need. I really appreciate you for the opportunity to work for the community, and though it’s sad to leave, I believe my absence won’t be so much felt if Sue fills in my role.
