Dear Sir or Madam,
I am Sheena Smith, living in your neighboring country New Zealand and a native to Auckland city. I came across an advertisement posted by you in The Sydney Weekly magazine, related to a vacancy in your family for a babysitter to your six month old baby.
I would like to position myself for the requirement posted by you. I am an Australian resident, and my age is 20. I have an invitation from the University of Sydney for graduation in Social Science. I have been a rank holder throughout my secondary education, and my Parents are working professional from health industry.
I live in a family of eight members where I am the eldest child, therefore I have experience in care giving and babysitting - both the roles; thanks to my little siblings. I consider myself fit for the role, please do consider my candidature.
The requirement posted by you is for six months only, during this time I will also get myself familiarized with Sydney, though It does not mean that I will be frequently away from my Job, leaving the baby. I will need to visit the University only 3-4 times regarding my admission and university hostel fees payment formalities.
I hope you would give me an opportunity to introduce myself, and explain further why having me on the job helps us both, most importantly the baby, who will get a sibling like person in me.
Looking forward to get positive response from you soon.
Yours Sincerely,
Sheena
