You have seen an advertisement from a couple, who live in Australia, for someone to teach their two children your language for a year.
Write a letter to the couple. In your letter,
1. Explain why you think you would be suitable for the job.
2. Say what else you could do for the family.
3. Give your reasons for wanting the job.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in response to an advertisement, published yesterday in one of Australia’s leading family magazine ‘Fam-Jam’, where you asked for the Hindi language tutor who can teach your children Hindi for a year. I have the valuable knowledge and experience to teach this language best and would love to take this job.
I am very confident that I would be able to render a great understanding of language to your toddlers since I have had a good experience in teaching Hindi to many of my students in the primary school where I was a Hindi teacher for 2 years. Besides teaching Hindi, I will also provide your kids some information about my home country and the lifestyle over there.
By the way, I recently immigrated to Australia and living with my Uncle who is a citizen of Australia. And, while I am new in Australia, I am looking for my first job and as this job seems as my previous experience in my home country it would be a great beginning for me here as well. For more information you can directly contact me on 9876543210 or email me through a@a.com.
I am looking forward for your reply.
Yours faithfully,
SM
