You just moved to a new place and haven’t gotten a chance to tell your friend. Write a letter to your friend.
In your letter, you should say:
• where and when you move there
• the differences between your new place and the previous place
• why you move there.
Dear Sam,
Hope this letter finds you well. If you remember in my last letter, I had mentioned that I was looking for new apartment as the lease of my old apartment was due to expire and the daily commute to my workplace was challenging. Happy to share that I have found a well-furnished studio apartment on 5th Avenue of city centre, and I have moved to my new apartment on 15th December.
I am so happy that finally I have rented an apartment that has a lot of amenities like gymnasium, spa, swimming pool and a pet friendly garden compared to my old apartment that had just a garden which also was not maintained up to the standards. Additionally, my new apartment has a club where the residents can host parties and get to gather. I was thinking that I will host my birthday party this year in this club, and I think we all will have a great time.
The other good part of moving in this new apartment is that it is close to my workplace. My travel time has drastically reduce, I now reach my office in 15 minutes compared to the old one where I use to take 1 hour to travel one way. Finally, I am glad that now I get to spend more time with my dog and play violin. I was thinking if you can come and visit me next month. There are many good restaurants and night clubs near my area and I am sure we both will have a great time.
Give my regards to your parent. I look forward to hearing from you.
