You recently organized an all- day meeting for your company, which took place in a local hotel. In their feedback, participants at the meeting said that they liked the hotel, but they were unhappy about the food that was served for lunch. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter
Say what the participants liked about the hotel (meeting room is spacious with great air conditioning, have great views of the city, chairs comfortable)
Explain why they were unhappy about the food (lobster dish overcooked, steaks are still raw inside, serving bit slow)
Suggest what the manager should do to improve the food in future (recheck before bringing out dishes, have more people to serve)
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing this letter with regard to the hall I booked two weeks ago to organize a full-day meeting for my company.
I have received feedback from the employees who participated that day and most of them said they loved the meeting hall. they all mentioned the wide space of the hall and the great air conditioning. Moreover, the employees were absolutely amazed by the perfect views of the city from above.
One thing I need to report is the food. Many participants said that their steaks were overcooked and some people got raw shrimps on their dishes. Also, it took a bit too long to serve lunch and dinner to my employees.
I would suggest that you recheck the food before bringing out to make sure that it is cooked perfectly and that you have more people to reduce the serving time. I believe these adjustments when done will please every customer of yours.
I still look forward to booking at your hotel in the future as I believe you will improve your service.
Kind regards
Truong
