You ride a bicycle to work, but there is a problem with the parking. Write a letter to the manager of the Parking Management Company. In your letter, you should tell:
– Why you ride a bicycle to work
– What the problem is with the parking
– What your suggestions are.
Dear Sir,
I am writing this to bring to your notice about the parking problems of my cycle. My name is John Gresham and I work for KPMG at 2nd floor of the Paramount building.
My residence is 5 Kms away from work and it takes almost an hour for commute through my car which is why I have opted to ride. It is just 20 mins ride to office. This is allowing me to stay healthy and contribute to environment.
However, the parking facilities for cyclists at the establishment are inferior. The space is not enough for more than 10 cycles and always full which is a deterrent to several others who have shown interest to cycle to work. Also, the current designated slot at the 5th basement has insufficient lighting. Hence, I request you to allocate adequate space and light in the parking lot and expect these improvements be implemented at the earliest. You can keep me informed on my email if the management has alternative plans.
Yours Faithfully,
John Gresham
