You want to improve your knowledge of a foreign language which can help you at work. Write a letter to a foreign language teacher and say
– Where did you hear about the teacher?
– Why do you want to learn a foreign language?
– Ask some questions about the course.
I am writing concerning my interest to enroll in your language course for 'Advanced English'. As a Software Engineer, I have to deal with clients from some English speaking countries. So, I would like to know more about the course you are offering.
It is one of my friend who has enrolled in your class of English and he recommended me to join your course. According to him, your course is best to learn advanced English since you have been practicing this profession a long time ago and perfect in teaching English at an advanced level.
As you may already get the idea that a Software Engineer needs to talk to people from exotic nations speaking English very fastly. To properly communicate with them, I have to work on speaking English which is at the medium level at the moment.
Also, I would like to ask you if you have any online arrangements to attend this course since I am working full time and sometimes might not be able to physically arrive at your institute location. I would appreciate it if you could provide me all the details about the fee structure and syllabus of this course.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Faithfully yours,
Bal
